This September, Hotel Milo launches refreshed guestrooms along with revitalized programming to make your stay better than ever. As part of our ongoing commitment to keeping experiences lively, visitors will enjoy special new touches from the moment they check in.
The hotel’s “refreshed” campaign, which continues until the end of October, includes several elements. In addition to having cold towels available for all guests all day long – the perfect way to refresh after travelling or enjoying the California sun—the hotel is also offering a treat for the hotel’s furry guests, any arriving pup will receive a Jessie’s Doggie Beer Biscuit as part of the hotel’s “Pamper Your Pup” program.
On a weekly basis, Hotel Milo Santa Barbara will offer the following to guests (available until October 31, 2016):
- Monday: Lazy Acres Market, a local organic Santa Barbara-based supermarket, will serve fresh, organic juice to arriving guests from 4-6PM.
- Wednesday: Deep Sea Winery, the only winery with a tasting room on the water in Santa Barbara’s Funk Zone, will be at the hotel serving their signature family recipe for Sauvignon Blanc Sangria to arriving guests from 4-6PM.
- Friday: After a long week, there is no better way to kick back than through a chair massage from Le Reve Organic Spa Boutique. This local spa is the exclusive provider of Eminence organic skin care products in Santa Barbara. Available for all hotel guests from 4-6pm.
- Saturday: Every Saturday afternoon, Hotel Milo has partnered with local fitness company Cal Coast Adventures to offer guests a complimentary Bike and Beverage Tour, departing the hotel at 3PM. Guests will visit Pure Order Brewing Co., Telegraph Brewing Co., DV8 Cellars and Deep Sea Tasting Room. Limited quantity available, must sign-up before 12PM day of.
The redesigned guestrooms mirror the spirit of this oceanfront town with a clean palette of blue and white. In honor of the city’s colonial origins, the furnitures chosen are in bamboo, rattan, wicker and chinoiserie. As a tribute to Milo Potter for whom the hotel is named and the person who owned the Hotel Potter, which was located where Hotel Milo now sits back in in 1903, artwork on the walls features various whimsical animals that might have been found on the original zoo that stood here.
