The Deep Sea wine tasting room, of Conway Family Wines, quickly became one of Santa Barbara’s most popular spots for its idyllic location right on Stearns Wharf. Having been in the business for over a decade, they are known for their Rhone-style wines from the Central Coast, and specialize in Viognier, Syrah and Zinfandel. The Santa Barbara Winery is actually the oldest the the county, established in 1962. Since then, it has been consistently producing some of the best reds and whites in this area. With a cozy and inviting atmosphere that includes plush leather chairs and a fireplace, the spot is also host to a variety of fun events throughout the year. The Municipal Winemakers tasting room is popular for its funky, retro decor, laid-back service and pop-up oyster bar on Sundays. Come by here to pick up a colorfully labeled bottle and sample their rotating flight options. This is one of the spots that has a much more local vibe than others, and remains a favorite for that reason.
