SOhO Restaurant and Music Club on upper State Street is a great combination of restaurant, bar and music venue. With both a back lounge for cocktails and outdoor patio seating, you could spend an entire evening here from dinner to late-night dancing. This spot also does a great job of booking local artists, so be sure to take a look at the upcoming events to get a true Santa Barbara show.

Velvet Jones on lower State Street is the perfect place around which to center your plans for an evening out on the town. Conveniently located near all the busiest bars and restaurants, this spot is where you go to rock. Campbell Hall

As a very underrated venue in Santa Barbara, we included Campbell Hall on our list because of its cultural and artistic significance in town. Booking artists of every genre and nationality, the calendar here is packed with concerts that will bring the world to your seat. As part of the UCSB Arts & Lectures program, this is also a great place to attend film premieres, special guest talks and more!

The Arlington

With increasing popularity each year, The Arlington Theatre is quickly becoming a go-to spot for locals looking to attend intimate concerts featuring popular, noteworthy artists.
