The Santa Barbara Bowl is one of the most gorgeous places you can see a concert. The 4,500-seat outdoor amphitheater is tucked up in the hills, overlooking the city and the ocean below. Every spring and summer, some of the best performers in the world come out to play there, and these are the acts we’re most excited about this year.

LCD Soundsystem

May 3rd

After “retiring” several years ago, LCD Soundsystem has been busy over the past year with a new album, and rolling performances around the world. The band defies description with its rock, electronic, and astonishingly eclectic collection of sounds and influences, and their show is one of a kind.

War & Parliament Funkadelic

May 27th

These are two iconic bands performing on the same night at one of the most picturesque outdoor music venues in the world. Catch War play hits like “Why Can’t We Be Friends?” and Parliament pull tracks from their all-time album Maggot Brain at this cant-miss show.

Sugarland

June 12th

Sugarland will continue their fifteen-plus year run as one of America’s most beloved country music duos. Catch singer-songwriters Jennifer Nettles and Kristian Bush for an intimate evening of strumming and singing at the Santa Barbara Bowl this June.

Jackson Browne

August 3rd

One of the greatest songwriters of his mind-blowing generation, Jackson Browne has always offered his own unique blend of poetry and uplifting Americana sounds. Even if you’re “Running on Empty,” you’ll still want to suck it up and get out to this late-summer show.

Steve Miller Band & Peter Frampton

August 15th

Peter Frampton will open for this show, just as he did last summer, and put on an amazing display of guitar playing and classic hits from his deep catalogue. Steve Miller Band will follow and put out a medley of hits like “Take The Money and Run,” while one of the greatest living guitarists puts on a demonstration unlike any other.
