McConnell’s Ice Cream  

This local ice creamery is a Santa Barbara staple, and with a new location on State Street it is walking distance from Hotel Milo! Opened in 1949, McConnell’s prides itself on making high quality ice cream using the local ingredients. Try the Boysenberry Rosé Milk Jam, Churros con Leche, Chocolate Covered Strawberries, Salted Caramel Chip, or one of the many other creative and original flavors available here.

Milkshake at Finch and Fork  

Finch and Fork has a perfectly curated, seasonal dessert menu that leaves nothing to crave. The most delicious of all is the Fire Roasted Milkshake made with caramelized banana ice cream, graham cracker salted caramel and toasted meringue. Smokey, rich flavors combine to make this indulgence worth every calorie.

Jeannine’s is another local favorite for everything from oversized cappuccinos to gourmet deli sandwiches, specializing particularly in cake. A small selection of slices is available everyday, and the carrot cake with crushed pineapple and cream cheese frosting is too delish to miss. Other classics include Jeannine’s Chocolate Heaven Cake with intense mocha flavor and the Raspberry White Chocolate Cake with fresh raspberry filling.

Lilac Patisserie  

Lilac Patisserie located on upper State Street is an entirely gluten-free bakery and café that specializes in sweet treats.
