2018 has been a good year for Santa Barbara, also known as The American Riviera. We’ve enjoyed the openings of a number of great restaurants and wineries. Looking to our favorites, these are some new spots you have to check out on the American Riviera.
At the beginning of 2018, Bibi Ji brought a new take on Indian cuisine to Santa Barbara. Finishing off its first year, this restaurant continues to be one of the best new spots in town. Come by for unique signature dishes, like flavorful black mussels in curry broth.

Just a few months ago, Crush Tasting Room and Kitchen opened near Santa Barbara’s Funk Zone in the Laguna District. The wine bar tasting room carries many of the best varietals in town, and there’s a tasty menu of apps and tapas like lobster sliders and loaded pulled pork nachos.
