This Spring, the UCSB Arts and Lectures program will host a series of conversations with author Pico Iyer. Best known for his travel writing and perspectives on cross-cultural experiences, the discussions will focus on visions for our future. On April 5, Iyer will join Maria Popova at Campbell Hall for what is sure to be an intriguing and inspiring talk. Popova is the founder of Brain Pickings, a highly popular website geared towards all things science, art and philosophy related. Together, the two should present some fascinating ideas and postulations that have kept Iyer returning to SB for years. Tickets are just $10 for UCSB students and cost $20-35 for the general public.
