Please join us for our Milo Uncorked wine series event on Friday, May 27, 2016 from 4-6 p.m.
Milo Uncorked offers guests and locals a quintessential California experience of drinking wine by the beach. For this tasting session, we have partnered with Kenneth Volk Vineyards.
Located in the Santa Maria Valley, Kenneth Volk Vineyards (KVV) makes luscious Burgundy and Bordeux varietal wines. Ken Volk, a third generation Californian who has been crafting Central Coast wines for over a quarter century and is best known for founding Wild Horse Winery, is the lead winemaker and proprietor of Kenneth Volk Vineyards. With a history in fruit science, Ken Volk creates exceptional wines by manipulating the potential chemistry of the growing fruit. Since 2004, Kenneth Volk Vineyards has been focusing its production on Burgundian varietals of Chardonnay and Pinot Noir, which the Central Coast is best known for. In addition, KVV also makes some excellent Bordeaux varietals from Paso Robles including Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot and a few heirloom wines including Malvasia, Mourvedre, Negrette and Tempranillo.
Representatives from the winery will be pouring a selection of their wines from 4-6 p.m. in the Fountain Courtyard, adjacent to the main lobby of Hotel Milo.
