Please join us for our Milo Uncorked wine series event on Friday, July 15, 2016 from 4-6 p.m.
Milo Uncorked offers guests and locals a quintessential California experience of drinking wine by the beach. For this tasting session, we have partnered with Liquid Farm, a vineyard specializing in Old World Wines.
The wines of Liquid Farm are more European in style than typical California wines. By design, the wines of Liquid Farm have a lower alcohol content, are made in a cooler climate, and have more earth-driven characteristics than California wines, which tend to be more ripe, fruit-focused and higher in alcohol content. Liquid Farm makes the wine that they most love to drink — Chardonnay that is earth and mineral driven from cool climates with little or no new oak.
The name of the vineyard is derived from Liquid Farm’s principal goal: to create awareness about what happens above ground and below ground, and tell the story of how both are inextricably linked to wine. They say “Wine is, after all, a product of the earth and the human touch. It is Liquid from Farming.”
Representatives from the winery will be pouring and answering questions from 4-6 p.m. in the Fountain Courtyard, adjacent to the main lobby of Hotel Milo.
