Please join us for our Milo Uncorked wine series event on Friday, June 17, 2016 from 4-6 p.m.
Milo Uncorked offers guests and locals a quintessential California experience of drinking wine by the beach. For this tasting session, we have partnered with Mosby Winery and Vineyards.
Lead by Bill Mosby, the winery and vineyards bunks convention in the Santa Ynez Valley – it doesn’t grow Pinot Noir or Chardonnay two of Santa Barbara’s most popular varietals. Focusing on Italian varietals Mosby Winery and Vineyard is a lone horse in the area that has been surprising wine drinkers with their luscious Cortese, Dolcettos, Sagranitno and Nebbiolos since the 1980s. Mosby was the first ever winemaker in Santa Barbara County to release a Cortese wine which is traditionally from the Peidmonte region of northern Italy. Mosby Winery and Vineyards collects grapes from its three different vineyards the Vigna della Casa Vecchia Vineyard, 246 Vineyards and Sori 101.
Representatives from the winery will be pouring a selection of their Italian wines from 4-6 p.m. in the Fountain Courtyard, adjacent to the main lobby of Hotel Milo.
