Please join us for our Milo Uncorked wine series event on Friday, October 28, 2016 from 4-6 p.m.
Milo Uncorked offers guests and locals a quintessential California experience of drinking wine by the beach. For this tasting session, we have partnered with Zaca Mesa Winery & Vineyards, one of the county’s oldest wineries.
Zaca Mesa Winery & Vineyards uses traditional methods to hand-craft its wines from sustainably grown grapes on its Santa Barbara vineyard. The Zaca Mesa Vineyard was planted in 1973 and it was the third winery to be established in Santa Barbara. Zaca Mesa is known for planting the famous Black Bear Block, the oldest Syrah grapes on the Central Coast. As the training ground for many great winemakers in the region over the years, the winery established Zaca University, a popular wine training program in the region. Zaca Mesa Vineyards continues to grow some of the best Syrah, Viognier and Rhone varietals in the country.
Representatives from the winery will be pouring and answering questions from 4-6 p.m. in the Fountain Courtyard, adjacent to the main lobby of Hotel Milo.
